Cruise mishap

Last night Julie and I got dressed up for the last night on the ship, made up to the nines. Had a lovely evening, then went back to room to finish packing and ensure cases were outside room for 10pm collection.

Got ready for bed, in Jammie’s, make up all removed, cases packed.

Took them outside the door together, they were heavy. THEN the door closed and locked. Key card inside and us stood in the long corridor in our nightwear – looking rather worse for wear.

We went in different directions to try get help, explaining to people what had happened. I was getting nowhere and went back to Julie who was crying with laughing.
She couldn’t remember the door number – neither could I , and was trying to get someone to come and let us in.

They came eventually and charged us 4.25 dollars each for the privilege!!!
