One of the arms on my glasses snapped off a couple of weeks ago, luckily I have a few pairs so managed.  Today, I took them back to the opticians, who told me they were out of warranty, and also they were an old prescription.

I decided to take up ASDA superb offer – 2 new pairs (varifocal/thinned/antiscratch) for £120!

An hour to spare I slowly made my way around the glasses stands, trying on many pairs.  I am very short-sighted, great for seeing close up…so  took my glasses off so  I could see how the new frames looked in the mirror.

Then I put my own glasses back on when I had made up my mind, – BUT they weren’t my glasses, they had no lenses in!!  I had put my own glasses on the racks of glasses, to make it worse I hadn’t a clue where they were and couldn’t see well enough to glance and see them

The staff were busy serving, so I had to start and slowly work my way up and down every single stand of glasses, looking for a pair without a label on. Eventually a lady came to help.

It took us over 45 minutes to find them!!!
